The roman holds a steady editorial weight — wide bowls, sturdy serifs, generous counters — and the italic opens up into long entry strokes and tail flourishes that carry the eye through a phrase. Capitals lean into ornament when the next letter calls for it; lowercase keeps things readable at body size. It reads as something printed on a label glued to a thick glass jar, where the maker had time to draw each letter twice. It is the kind of lettering you can picture on the front of a small-batch perfume catalogue, or running across the title page of a quiet book about gardens.
